Sono un principiante nel mondo Linux...
E da qualche giorno a questa parte ho riscontrato due problemi:
-Qualsiasi riproduzione video che effettuo mi sballa i colori e vedo le persone BLU.
-Se voglio stampare un documento in NERO me lo stampa in BLU.
Allora, ho provato a montare nuovi riproduttori video(tutti in blu) , e i video in se su altri computer sono normali.
Ho provato a stampare da un'altro pc(con la stessa stampante) e stampa nero...
Ho provato a stampare in uno stesso documento caratteri di diversi colori...sono giusti solo che i caratteri neri me li fa BLU!(cartuccia nera c'è e piena)
Che problema ha linux? è daltonico?
Aiutatemi!!! devo stampare documenti per la tesina, sto impazzendo!:grr::hail::grr:

Forse il problema non è linux ma il monitor (per quanto riguarda i video blu).

Linux non ha di questi problemi... la distribuzione che usi probabilmente si.
Da quello che dici sembrano esserci 2 difetti distinti, anche se entrambi potrebbero essere riconducibili alla stessa causa. I profili di conversione dello spazio dei colori (ICC).

Posso ipotizzare che il driver della tua stampante (oppure un tool di terze parti, che abbia installato e configurato tale driver) abbia interferito con il file di configurazione dei profili ICC, interferendo quindi anche con la riproduzione video tramite Hardware Overlay, che si appoggia agli stessi profili per rendere i colori.

Per poterti aiutare concretamente devi dirci:
- Nome esteso della tua distribuzione (Ubuntu, Suse, Mandriva, Fedora, Mint, ecc...)
- Versione esatta della distribuzione (es: Ubuntu 8.10 con ramo Testing attivo, ecc...)
- Versione esatta di CUPS (guarda nel sistema di gestione dei pacchetti della tua distribuzione, per sapere il numero di versione esatto)
- Marca e modello esatti della tua scheda video
- Tipo e versione esatta del relativo driver (ad esempio, le schede nVidia hanno 3 possibili driver, nv, nvidia e nouveau, ciascuno con numeri di versione diversi: puoi postare qui il contenuto del file /var/log/Xorg.0.log per avere info dettagliate)

Ultima cosa, ma non meno importante: Cerca di ricordare e di descrivere nel modo più dettagliato possibile tutto quello che hai fatto (compresa installazione/disinstallazione di driver/programmi/ecc..) sul sistema, prima che comparisse questo difetto...

Che altro dire? Beh, sei un principiante nel mondo linux, avrai modo di odiare il pinguino diverse volte prima di poterne apprezzare i lati positivi :)

-Allora quello che io ho fatto:
Installo gli aggiornamenti che mi si presentano, e quando ho iniziato a vedere i filmati in blu ho pensato fosse a causa di qualche aggiornamento sbagliato, ma ho aspettato che magari arrivassero altri aggiornamenti ad aggiustare(Bo:-|)
Poi ad un certo punto hanno iniziato a non funzionare più nemmeno i tasti "supplementari" della mia tastiera(tipo alzare, abbassare il volume, cambiare traccia ecc...)
Faccio notare che se guardo i film su megavideo o su youtube li vedo normalissimi, solo se li carico dal mio pc sono blu.

Per la stampante invece è iniziato tutto ieri, quando dovevo stampare (parecchie pagine). Sapevo però di aver poco inchiostro, ma ho lasciato andare e inizialmente la prima pagina è stata stampata in nero poi dalla seconda in poi in blu (pensavo fosse dovuto al fatto che la cartuccia nera fosse finita e quindi era subentrata la blu, bo)
Poi stamattina ho sostituito la cartuccia nera e facendo il test di prova (che esegue in automatico la stampante)(hp psc 1350) ha stampato in nero.
Ho provato a stampare altri documenti ma li stampa in blu, ho provato con openOffice, blu. ho provato con un "txt" linuxiano:blu. ho cercato pure con TomBoy, ma non sono riuscito a stampare con quello.
Se provo a fotocopiare un documento dalla stampante però esce il nero, quindi c'è.

Sono disperato, saranno 2 mesetti che ho linux e non mettendomi a fare grandi cose mi sembrava di riuscirci a convivere abbastanza bene, ma sbagliavo! :_doubt:
